*New* FCES Playground Addition!
The new FCES south playground addition is ready to go. The Inclusive Whirl has been a couple years in the making but has definitely been well worth it. This inclusive equipment was installed to ensure all of our students have access to playground equipment & be included in the recess fun!
Due to the forecasted incoming weather, we want everyone to get home safely. We are under a watch only currently. We are going to dismiss quickly and orderly at our normal dismissal time. All after school activities have been cancelled and we need all students to go home at dismissal. Everyone, please have a safe & good night.

❤️ Kids Heart Challenge Reward Day ❤️
Our Farmers did a SUPERB job of fundraising for the Kids Heart Challenge. They met many of their goals which unlocked some exciting rewards. Mrs. Naylor had to dye her hair multi-colors, Mr. Mathewson had to wear his clothes backwards for a day, & the 3rd grade teachers had to kiss a pig!
The big jackpot reward this year involved the 5th grade teachers. The whole school met in the gym as the top fundraising students were able to pie the 5th grade teachers. To say the students had a blast, would be an understatement.
*A big THANK YOU goes to Mr. Benson for organizing this event, the teachers who volunteered to be apart of the rewards, Mr. Reeder for subbing in, & our Farmer families for participating in this fundraiser.
🏈 NFL Pro-Bowl Special Guest Reader 📖
Attention football fans! FCES had a special guest reader visit Pre-K this morning. Retired Pro-Bowl defensive tackle Henry Melton stopped in (over Zoom) & read two books to our students. The students really enjoyed this awesome experience. A big thank you to PNC Bank and the Bears organization for making this special day possible!
