Our 5th Graders have been leading the way in spreading KINDESS while promoting bully prevention. These Farmers have been in classrooms reading The Pout-Pout Fish and the Bully-Bully Shark to our younger students. In addition, they worked with the 4th grade to create a KINDESS Quilt that is proudly posted outside our morning meeting gym so all our students can see it everyday. Thank you for being LEADERS at FCES!

🏀 Makerspace Spotlight: 5th Grade Basketball Hoop Challenge 🏀
This week in Makerspace, our 5th graders took on an exciting engineering challenge—designing and building their very own tabletop basketball hoops! The hoops had to stand at least 7 inches tall, and students could only use 10 index cards, 2 pieces of construction paper, and tape.
With creativity, teamwork, and careful planning, every group completed their project successfully. We loved watching students brainstorm ideas, test their designs, and encourage one another along the way.
Most of all, they had fun bringing their ideas to life! We are so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see what they build next.
