🥫 K-1 Tours County Market 🥩
#ELB22 Kindergarten & 1st graders took a guided tour of a local business, County Market. They learned about the different departments (Meat, Pharmacy etc.), saw where items are stored behind the scenes, & witnessed the cardboard box compactor in action. Students even left with some fun treats! Overall, it was a blast!
*A big "Thank You" goes out to County Market for doing this for our young Farmers!

🍔Teacher Appreciation Lunch🌭
Some familiar faces were grilling up some porkchops & brats for our faculty & staff. The rain tried to interfere but nothing could stop us from showing how appreciative we are of our Farmers! A big thank you to the school board for purchasing meat from the Farmington Locker & assisting with distribution.
Yesterday, 5th graders enjoyed celebrating "May the 4th Be With You!" Students dressed up like Star Wars characters & completed Star Wars themed activities. Activities included reading informational text about how a young boy who grew up with a stutter that would eventually become the famous voice of Darth Vader & a building challenge! #Enjoy #FarmerFUN
🏃 Girls on the Run 🏃
Girls on the Run were able to get outside this week to enjoy the weather, learn important life skills, & get some exercise! A BIG Thank you to Mrs. Hoffmann, Mrs. Conlee, & Mrs. Walraven for all their help this year!

The varsity boys baseball game today, originally scheduled to be played in Annawan will be played here in Farmington immediately following the JV game.
📘 Positive Affirmation Authors 📙
Mrs. Pohl's class has talked about positive affirmations throughout this school year. One student had an idea to use these positive affirmations for a book. The student treasure book project was a creative way for young authors to share positive stories through their drawings and writing. Amazing job! #AwesomeAuthors #Enjoy
🌱 Learning & Growing 🌱
Ms. Ford's first graders are talking about what plants need in order to grow. Students got the chance to get their hands dirty and plant grass seed. Each day during science, they will record in their plant journal of their observations of what's happening at the top and also what's happening at the bottom of their cup! Once the grass gets long they will get the chance to MOW with scissors! #FarmerFun #Enjoy
🏀 March Book Madness Winner 📕
The champion of college basketball will be crowned tonight but our 2nd graders have already selected their March Madness winner. Mrs. Thompson's class had a March Book Madness bracket. Winners for each round were voted on by the students. Their official winner is Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day! #FarmerFun #Enjoy
