Harvest Team Member Presley Fox shows her appreciation on behalf of the students to the 6 senior staff members at FCHS. Mr. Paul- 29 years!
After reaching out to Mr. Paul one of the topics discussed was why he became a teacher he stated, “Science has always been a favorite topic of mine—I’ve always looked at science problems like puzzles that have to be figured out. You can’t just memorize answers to things, you have to take the information that you have and put it all together. As a teacher no two days are going to be the same. I may teach the same topics next year, but I’ll get to work with different personalities that present new challenges and new rewards.”
Mr. Paul has been at Farmington for almost 30 years and he believes Farmington school district pushes it’s teachers to work their hardest. He has enjoyed working with his coworkers throughout the years. The most rewarding part for Mr. Paul is when he hears from former students and their successes.

Harvest Team Member Presley Fox shows her appreciation on behalf of the students to the 6 senior staff members at FCHS. Mr. Herink- 16 years!
Mr. Herink has enjoyed teaching at Farmington. He think his time has really gone by fast! His favorite thing about Farmington is the band. If all jobs had the same pay and same hours, he would choose the job of a professional fisherman. GO BAND!

Harvest Team Member Presley Fox shows her appreciation on behalf of the students to the 6 senior staff members at FCHS. Mr. Hardesty- 19 years!
Mr. Hardesty describes his job at Farmington as “ The job of a lifetime.”
He’s always wanted to be a social studies teacher along with a coach. Another question I had asked him was, “If you weren’t a teacher, what job would you want and what is a job you would be horrible at?” And after some discussion he came to the conclusion that he would probably want to be in the military. A job he said he would be bad at is anything involving food!
