Some of her hobbies outside of teaching consist of cooking, traveling, hiking and playing sports, and going to car shows. Congratulations to Ms. Burklund on April’s Staff Member of the Month!
Nick Johnson was selected as April’s Senior of the Month. Nick takes great pride in his academics as he has maintained a grade point average above a 3.5, is taking an English dual credit course, and has been on the Honor Roll throughout his high school career. Along with his studies, Nick is involved in numerous extracurricular activities which include: Football, Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Club Soccer, Spanish Club, Key Club, FFA Interact, and Harvest Team. In addition to his involvement in school, Nick finds time to give back to the community as he volunteered his time to help children at the Hanna City Heritage Days, the Farmington Summer Festival, and by coaching youth soccer. He will attend Truman State in the fall where he plans to major in Elementary Education and continue his football career. Congratulations, Nick!
