Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Monday March 14th and today is Pi Day.  Why should you never talk to Pi?  It will go on forever.

Congratulations to the following 7th graders for memorizing the most digits of Pi.

 3rd Place - Reagan Stevens - who memorized 42 numbers of Pi

2nd Place  - Adam Ducharme - who memorized 100 numbers of Pi

1st Place - Eddie O'Brian who learned 102 numbers of Pi! 

 Over 54 7th graders memorized between 10 and 40 numbers of Pi! Well done 7th grade

 Mrs. Tracy had 3 6th graders who learned more than 30 numbers of Pi.

Chloe Briggs memorized 32 numbers

Josh Mrozinski 34 numbers and Becca Kirk 43 numbers of Pi! Great Job

 Would these students please come to Mrs. Tracy's room after announcements.

Mrs. Tracy also needs to see ALL Pi T-shirt winners to get their pictures taken. Please meet across from the Library near the Pi Day T-shirts right after announcements

 Cheer tryouts will be Monday, March 28 and Tuesday, March 29th. The  tryout packets and sign up sheet is located in the office. Please sign your name on the sign up sheet when you take a packet. 

On Thursday, March 17th Farmington Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High are invited to participate in a supply drive for Ukrainian refugees. Students and staff can wear their favorite basketball attire, jersey, Alma Mater's attire, and school appropriate hat in celebration of March Madness and the NCAA basketball tournament with a single donation from the list below:

-Baby supplies (no glass jars), diapers, cereals, baby bottles, and wipes
-Bottled drinks such as Gatorade, Propel, and water
-Can openers; non-perishable foods, ramen, cereal, protein bars, and granola bars
-Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, and moisturizers
-Fleece blankets

All items will be donated at building entrances before school on Thursday, March 17th. Items will be sent to Europe via the University of Illinois Carle College of Medicine. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Travis Wilkinson at: twilkinson@dist265.com
