Farmington Farmers

Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Thursday Jan. 20th and today is National Cheese Lover’s Day.  Did you know that you can cut down a tree with cheese?  You just have to make sure the cheese is extra sharp.

Lunch today: Taco Salad, Pizza Burger, or PB&J

Students, today we are MAP testing again today.  Yesterday’s results were pretty good, and we are very proud of you for your efforts.  We are hoping for a repeat performance today.  Remember, we use this test to measure your progress or growth in school.  The results of your test are important because it indicates what your strengths are and if there is help that is needed in any specific areas.  We also use your results to guide instruction in the classroom.  We ask that you take your time today on this test and do your best.

The scholastic bowl tryout week wraps up after school today. If you are trying out, please report to Mrs. Beoletto's classroom after school. If you can't make it, please let Mrs. Beoletto or Mrs. McCabe know!

Attention 8th graders, your Jostens orders are due tomorrow. If you were absent and did not get a packet, please stop by the office today to pick one up.

Good luck to our volleyball game this evening as our team hosts Havana.  Game time is at 5:30.  Students, if you are planning on attending the game, masks are mandatory in our gym and school.  Also, with the game being at 5:30, you do not need to be in the building until 4:45.  You will not be able to stick around and hang out here until the game starts.  We have no one to supervise you.  Players, if your coach has something worked out with you, that is different, but you should not be walking around campus.

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
