Farmington Farmers

Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Thursday, October 7th.  Today is National Chocolate Covered Pretzel Day.  Did you hear what the investigator said when he tripped over a pretzel?  That was an unexpected twist!

Lunch today: Taco Salad, Pizza Burger, and  PB&J

If you are not running in sectionals, please return your uniforms in a bag with your name on it to Mrs. Marvel or Mrs. Wilson.  Please turn in your Award Banquet slips by next Tuesday, October 13.

Missing Work - Students, I ran 257 missing assignment reports yesterday.  This means that 257 students at Farmington Jr. High School have at least one missing assignment.  If your teacher hasn’t handed that out to you already, it will be handed out today.  One week from today is the end of the first quarter, and those missing assignments will turn into zeros if they haven’t already.  If you have missing work and question whether it is missing or not, it is a good idea to check in with your teacher at some point today.  Remember - HOMEWORK IS NOT AN OPTION!

Breakfast - Please do not throw away your breakfast in the morning if all you are looking for is one juice box.  You can take your breakfast to your homeroom teacher and what you don’t want, we will have it available for other students who might need a snack or a bite to eat later in the day.  Also, I witnessed several apples on top of the vending machine yesterday.  This is not acceptable and is a complete abuse of our breakfast program.  Please, have a little respect for our school and the people who work hard to feed you, or keep the school clean daily.

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America  And to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
