Farmington Farmers

Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Tuesday, August 17th and today is Black Cat Appreciation Day.  Speaking of black cats, what did the black cat say to the other when it fell into water?  Meow!

Lunch today: spaghetti, garlic bread, and cheese quesadilla

At lunch today, please have a seat in the cafeteria or outside.  We will dismiss you to the lunch line once everyone is situated.  Please do not sit at the tables if you are planning to eat outside.  Finally, we really only should have four people per picnic table.  Everyone else can sit on the ground, picnic style.

Students if you have any issues with your schedule, please let Mr. Uptmor know.

The Junior High Cross Country season has begun with a great first meet.  All runners ran well with surprise medals given out.  The girls placed 4th overall with Camryn Emmons being a medal winner by placing individually in 7th place.  Dax Ulm set a course record with a first place finish at 12:44 followed by Ethan Martin in 2nd place and Gage Galyean in 4th place.  The boys placed 2nd overall.  Our next meet is Thursday at Dunlap Valley.  Great Job Farmington Runners.

Good luck to the baseball team as they take on Williamsfield tonight at home in a game beginning at 4:15.

Also, good luck to our girls softball team as they travel to Illini Bluffs for a game beginning at 4:15.

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America  And to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
