Good Morning Farmers! Today is Monday March 15th and it is an A day. If you are in 8th grade and have band on your schedule, you have class today. If you are in 8th and have Monday/Thursday, you also have class today.
Lunch for today is hamburgers, PB and J, or farmer salad.
World Down Syndrome Day is Sunday March 21st and we will be raising awareness all week long. LS3 is sponsoring a sock decorating contest. Two winners from each class will be chosen to receive a gift card and all entries will be added to a drawing for a consolation prize. Sock designs are due by the end of day Wednesday and don’t forget to wear your crazy socks on Friday!
The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.
