Tomorrow is going to be a Fun Friday! Tomorrow is Purple and Gold Day! Let's all show school spirit by wearing purple and gold tomorrow! The more purple and gold, the better!
Tomorrow night, the high school will have their very own version of “Friday Night Lights” during this pandemic. The football team will be practicing, the cheerleaders will be cheering, and the band will be performing. The evening will kickoff at 7:15pm when the Golden Wave will play the school song. This will be followed by football practice and sideline cheerleaders performing. Families and fans are encouraged to attend. Seating in the home bleachers will be by reservation only. If you plan to attend and want to sit in the home bleachers, contact Activities Director Jeff Flater at jflater@dist265.com. There will be designated areas for all other spectators. In addition, entrance into the stadium will require a face covering. So, if you’re missing the Farmington Stadium lights on, the band playing, the cheers yelling, and footballs flying in the air, come out on Friday, Sept. 25 for a fun-filled night.
Junior High Students, if you are planning to attend the “Friday Night Lights” event planned for tomorrow, you will need to be accompanied by a parent and be required to sit with them. Wandering around and playing football in open spaces will not be allowed due to Covid restrictions and social distancing.
At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:
