Today is Tuesday October 22nd and today is National Color Day. Different colors are perceived to mean different things. The following is one rendition of the perceived meaning of the various colors in the United States.
Red: Excitement – Love – Strength
Yellow: Competence – Happiness
Green: Good Taste – Envy – Relaxation
Blue: Corporate – High Quality
Pink: Sophistication – Sincerity
Violet/Purple: Authority – Power
Brown: Ruggedness
Black: Grief – Fear
White: Happiness – Purity.
Today for lunch we have Spaghetti, Quesadilla, or PBJ.
Cross Country Team - Banquet Slips are due to Mrs. Wilson or Coach Marvel by Wednesday October 23. Uniforms are to be cleaned, dried, and placed in a bag with your name on it. Uniforms are due to Mrs. Wilson by Friday October 25.
Congratulations to both the 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams for their wins over Abingdon-Avon. The girls are back in action tonight as they travel to Chillicothe in a game beginning at 5:00.
Student Council - Social and Citizenship Committees meet this Wednesday at 7:30. Please check your emails. Also, remember Parli-Pro Boot Camp is this Wednesday after school until 4:45.
This Wednesday is Unity Day and we will again be taking part in the Unity March against Bullying. We are asking our students to wear orange that day.
Remember, that we will dismiss at 2:12 tomorrow and Thursday for Parent/Teacher Conferences. We will also have no school on Friday.
