Farmington Farmers

Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Wednesday, March 6th!

Lunch for today:Cheese Pizza and farmer salad

This week is Respect Week.Today is Orange and blue day! Did you know...People with sensory processing disorder struggle with detecting, interpreting, and generating adaptive responses to sensory input. People who have SPD can also struggle to fall asleep and stay asleep at night. Physical and occupational therapy can help children learn strategies to help them process sensory input. While all children have unique sensory preferences and tendencies, these differences are only considered a “disorder” when they significantly impact their daily life in a negative way. Tomorrow wear purple for Rett Syndrome awareness.

March is here, which means Pi Day is right around the corner.  If you would like to be part of the Pi Day T shirt design-contest, pick up a t-shirt to design from your math teacher. There will be winners in every grade level. T-shirts need to be cut out and turned in to Mrs. Tracy by the end of the day Tuesday, March 12th.

Next Open Gym for those 8th graders interested in High School cheer will be on the 14th in Gym D from 6-7:30 pm.

Dental Services will be offered on March 18th by the Peoria County Health Department to those interested.  Please return filled out forms to the office ASAP.

After school tutoring is with Mrs. Beoletto and will start in the library.

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
