Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Friday, March 1st!

Happy Birthday on Sunday to 7th grader Addison Hippen!

Good luck to the girls volleyball team as they travel to Washington Middle School tomorrow morning to take on Germantown Hills in the first round of the IESA Regional.  The match begins at 11:00.

Good luck to Isaac Showalter, Xander Simerly, Jordan Jones, and Lee Kosowski as they wrestle in the IESA Sectional Meet tomorrow at East Peoria.

Next week is Respect week and we have a lot of color theme dress up days to show our support for inclusion for people with disabilities.  On Monday, we ask that all Jr. High students Wear White, in support of the Visually impaired and Blind.  On Friday next week, we will wrap up Respect Week by attending a Unified Basketball game at the high school between Peoria Heights and Farmington.

Anyone interested in trying out for the high school cheer team for the 2024-25, please join us for some open gym times!  We will meet on March 5th & 14th in Gym D from 6-7:30 pm.  This is not mandatory, but highly encouraged!  If you have any questions reach out to Coach Hanlin (shanlin@dist265.com)

Dental Services will be offered on March 18th by the Peoria County Health Department to those interested.  Please return filled out forms to the office ASAP.

No after school tutoring today.

Students, it has been brought to my attention that we are sharing lots of drinks with each other.  Not a smart idea with all the illness going around.  So, if we see you sharing your drinks with other people, we will start confiscating your drinks.  We are also noticing more and more energy drinks being brought into school.   Page 40 of our student handbook states that energy drinks are not to be consumed at school.  So, moving forward, we will be enforcing that policy a lot stronger.

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
