Good luck to the girls basketball team at a home game tonight against Elmwood. Games will start at 5 pm. Players will need to leave the building after school and come back unless we are told by the Coaches you have a designated room to be in.
Good luck to the boys basketball team as they begin their season tonight at Peoria Heights. Gametime is 4:30 PM.
7th and 8th grade volleyball tryouts will be December 5th and 6th in the JH Gym. Volleyball flyers are in the office for additional information.
After school tutoring starts today until 4:45 pm. Tutoring will be Monday thru Thursdays each week. Today, please go to Miss Clayton’s room after school if you are interested.
The FCJHS Student Council is hosting a Halloween costume dress up day fundraiser on Tuesday, October 31st. Students may wear their school appropriate Halloween costumes for a free will donation (donate what you can) that will be collected as students enter the building tomorrow morning. Appropriate costumes follow the dress code, no weapons or “blood” is allowed.
All proceeds will be going to Our Military Kids. This organization helps support the children of our military heroes.

Today is National Pumpkin Day! I once won a pumpkin carving contest. It was a hollow victory.
