Students, it seems as though we are having a really difficult time here lately keeping our hands to ourselves. I have received a few incidents in the office that are absolutely not acceptable with students either walking by and hitting another student in the stomach (or lower). Also, extending their feet out to trip another student. Again, not acceptable. Students, please listen. We will not tolerate this type of behavior at school.
This week at school, we need to focus on the importance of being able to identify the personal skills and qualities that make us who we are. Thomas Edison once said “If we were able to accomplish what we are capable of doing, we would astonish ourselves. We all have special skills and talents to share, and it is important to recognize them and offer them to others. This week, take some time to think about what you live to do and what you are good at, and look for at least one way to share your skills and talents with someone else. It could be as simple as helping a friend, or listening to someone. It could be helping someone with a homework problem or using your talents in an athletic competition. Whatever your talents and skills are, let them shine this week.
At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Farmer Four:
I am respectful
I am responsible
I am safe
I am prepared
Today is National Cheese Pizza Day. When I make pizza, I always ask should I cut the pizza into six pieces or eight pieces. Because some people aren’t hungry enough to eat eight pieces. Ok…this joke isn’t very funny. I guess pizza jokes are all about the delivery.
Have a great day Farmers!!!
