There will be a 7th/8th grade girls volleyball meeting in the JH Gym on Thursday, August 24th at 2:30 pm for those who are interested.

Attention all junior high students! Are you interested in acting? Are you good at memorizing? Would you like to get better at either or BOTH of these things? If so, be on the lookout for a Google Survey headed your way in your email and complete it by the end of this week! Coach Beoletto will be in touch with you soon.

Student council members- You will have a meeting next Wednesday, August 30th from 3:15-4:15 in the junior high research center. Please email Miss Clayton if you are unable to make it to the meeting.

The junior high Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will be meeting this Friday at 7:30 in Miss Clayton’s classroom.  All students are welcome to join in this great club!  We are excited to see you there.

Today, we will continue our MAP testing here at the school.  We use the data from the test to assign RTI groups, and our teachers use the results of the test to see what they need to be working toward teaching you this year.  Please take your time and do your best on the test today.

Joseph Addison an English poet said “Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.”  Reading has several benefits.  It stimulates the mind and keeps it actively engaged.  It strengthens the knowledge bank of information, and lowers stress levels and keeps the brain sharp at all times.  It’s never too late to begin taking advantage of the many physical and psychological benefits waiting for you in the pages of a good book.

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Farmer Four:

I am respectful
