Farmington Central Junior High

Good Morning Farmers!  Today is Tuesday August 22nd.  It is the 5th Day of School!

Happy Birthday to 6th Grade Student Garrett Crow!  Also, happy birthday to another 6th grade student, Gracie Rumler.

Lunch for today: Spaghetti, Meatball Sub, or PBJ Uncrustable

Good luck to the baseball team as they host Mossville this afternoon for games beginning at 4:30 PM.

Today, we will begin our MAP testing here at the school.  We use the data from the test to assign RtI groups, and our teachers use the results of the test to see what they need to be working toward teaching you this year.  Please take your time and do your best on the test today and tomorrow!

There is an old Ethiopian proverb that says “When spider webs unite, they can tie up a lion.”  When really small and petty issues are not taken care of properly, they can develop into big and troublesome ones.  But when we work together, we can accomplish way more than we can do individually.  By coming together, we conquer together!  Let’s all come together to work on being kind to all here at school!

At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Farmer Four:

I am respectful

I am responsible

I am safe

I am prepared

Today is National Tooth Fairy Day!  The tooth fairy used to be a lawyer, but she wanted the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth.

Have a great day Farmers!!!
