Good Morning Farmers! Today is Wednesday August 16th! Welcome back to Farmington Central Jr. High School!
Happy Birthday to 8th grade twin brothers Braelean and Braxton Krusa!!!
Lunch for today: Cheese Pizza Bread, Farmer Salad w/ham, and Pretzel with Cheese
Congratulations to the boys baseball team for their first victory of the season last night! The boys baseball team will travel to Chillicothe tonight for games beginning at 4:30 PM.
Tomorrow is Picture Day at Farmington Central. Forms were handed out at open house, or if you weren’t at open house, they should be sent home with you today.
Students, if you ride bus 16 or 18, we may have to have “double runs.” This means that if the bus is full, all Jr. High and High School students will need to ride the “second bus.” If you have siblings in the elementary that you have to take care of or watch, please let us know. We will do everything we can to get you on the first run. If we can get you on those buses on the first run we will. If not, you will be asked to get off the bus and wait for the second run. “Late Bus” will meet at the picnic tables in Lot B or in the cafeteria (depending on the weather). The bus comes for the second run at approximately 3:45. Again, this is for students who ride bus 16 or 18 in the afternoon. We will work together on this to make sure you get home!
If you have Ms. Kepler for Art, you will meet by the band room to be walked to class. Students will not need any materials or backpacks today. You will be returned to your locker before you leave today.
This week, we will focus on getting to know our classmates. William Butler Yeats, an Irish poet and politician once said “There are no strangers here - only friends we have yet to meet.”
This week, let’s look for opportunities to make new friends. We can greet people in class and in the halls, we can smile, reach out to new students, and make a point of making new acquaintances. Watch what a difference it makes in your feelings about school to be friendly, to get to know some new people, and to make school a welcoming place.
At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Farmer Four:
I am respectful
I am responsible
