For 8th graders, the Golden Wave Marching Band will hold auditions for the 2023-2024 drumline on April 19th from 3:15-4. Anyone is welcome and auditions will take place on a first come first served basis. Music-reading ability is preferred, but not required, only the willingness to learn and try something new. Auditions will also be held for the color guard on April 20th from 3:15-4. This will be a group audition. All are welcome regardless of experience with flags! Contact Mrs. Smith for more information.
It has been brought to our attention that there is a “game” that we are playing outside where we slap someone on the leg, or back as hard as we can to leave a mark. Which one of the Farmer 4 are we not following? Is it “I am respectful”? Is it “I am safe”? Before we do this again, just know, if you are caught, there will be consequences. Keep your hands to yourself please!
Good luck to the Scholastic Bowl Team going to Limestone Walters with the match starting at
4 pm. Bus dismissal will be 2:55.
Attention Students interested in volleyball! We have a volleyball skills camp coming in May. If you are interested, stop by the office and pick up a flier!
There will be a meeting in the JH Gym for any 8th grade girls interested in High School Volleyball during study hall today. Please check in with your study hall teacher and then go to the gym.
Today is the last day to turn in your Color-A-Thon packet registration into the office! Please get those turned in ASAP.
If you notice a classmate being kind, remember to submit their name on the google form shared by Mrs. Buwick for a chance to be recognized.
At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
I am respectful
I am responsible
I am safe
I am prepared
