Did you know...The signs that a child might have Fragile X Syndrome include the following: developmental delays (not sitting, walking, or talking at the same time as other children the same age), learning disabilities (trouble learning new skills), and social and behavior problems (such as not making eye contact, anxiety, trouble paying attention, hand flapping, acting and speaking without thinking, and being very active).
Thank you for participating in Respect Week. Please join us at lunch today to take the pledge and grab some groovy swag!!
1, 2, 3, 4…We declare a PENNY WAR!
The FCJHS StuCo is sponsoring a Penny War between grade levels to support the remaining activities we have planned for this school year. Want to see your favorite teacher get a pie in the face? Starting on Monday, bring in pennies and bills to add to your teacher's jar AND silver coins to sabotage other grade levels! Donations will be accepted March 6th through March 10th during lunch. Who will win and get a pie in the face? Let the coins fall as they may!
Students it is time for our annual Pi Day T-shirt Contest. Color and design a t-shirt having to do with Pi Day which is on March 14th. 3 winners will be awarded in each grade level and given a prize. You can get a copy of the t-shirt from your math teacher. All entries are due by the end of the day on Thursday, March 9th. Good Luck!
This week, if you notice a classmate being kind, remember to submit their name on the Google Form shared by Mrs. Buwick for a chance to be recognized.
At this time, will you please rise for the pledge:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
I am respectful
I am responsible
I am safe
I am prepared
Today is National Cold Cuts Day. I went to the doctor and was told that my love of sandwich meat was going to kill me. So I had to quit cold turkey.
