This week is RESPECT WEEK. Did you know...Down syndrome remains the most common chromosomal condition diagnosed in the United States. Each year, about 6,000 babies born in the United States have Down syndrome. This means that Down syndrome occurs in about 1 in every 700 babies. "21st Chromosome-A blessing in disguise." Congratulations to our Science Olympiad team! They medaled in twelve of their events over the weekend and qualified to compete in the State competition Saturday April 23 on the University of Illinois campus in Champaign.
There will be a meeting today for all 6th graders that are interested in track during your FLC period in the junior high gym.
