★ This is Theatre in Education Week. Dress up days are as follows:
Tuesday- Oklahoma- Flannel/Country Western
Wednesday- Addams Family- Wacky Wednesday
Thursday- Hamilton- Dress as a Historical Figure
Friday- Beauty and the Beast- Formal Day
★ On Thursday, March 28th all students and staff are encouraged to celebrate Major League
Baseball's Day. Feel free to wear a hat and donate $1 at the school entrance. Staff
members are also encouraged to participate and may wear a MLB jersey for an additional
$1. All proceeds are do directly benefit Wally Bastian and his family, a 14 month old from
Chillicothe who recently underwent a heart transplant in Chicago.
★ If you do not have a 2019 purple parking tag displayed to see through your windshield you
be given 1 warning and then receive detentions. Please come to the office today if you need
a parking tag.
★ The GoldenWave drumline will be performing at the Peoria Rivermen hockey game on
Saturday, April 6th, at the Peoria Civic Center. Tickets for premium seats are being sold at
a discounted rate of $12.00. Ticket order forms can be picked up from the office or Chance
Whisenand. All ticket orders are due to the office or Chance by TODAY.
★ Harvest team member Mackenzie Schaer will be hosting a teddy bear drive for Alzheimer’s
patients throughout the month of March. Patients suffering from this disease often feel lost,
scared and uncomfortable. Having a teddy bear or doll can be a very effective way to reduce
stress and agitation as well as increase their overall state of mind. Please consider donating
a new stuffed animal to this cause!! Boxes will be set up in the school for drop off. Thank
you!!
