9:40 Cheerleaders will compete a the IHSA State Competition @ the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.
Boys Basketball vs. Illini West H.S. @ HOME. JV play 6:00 / Varsity 7:30
Saturday, February 2nd:
9AM Wrestling will compete at Knoxville H.S. Bus departs 6:30.
Girls Basketball vs. Elmwood H.S. -THERE- Bus departs 3PM. JV plays 4:00 / Varsity 5:30
FCHS will be sponsoring a fan bus for day 2 of the IHSA State Cheer Competition Finals. This will be held tomorrow, Feb. 2 in Bloomington, IL. The bus will depart from FCHS doors at 9:30am and will return at the conclusion of the awards presentation. The cost to ride the bus is $5.00, and this does not include your ticket to the State Finals. You will need to purchase a ticket at the door for a cost of $10. Sign-ups are in the HS office and you must sign up by 11am this morning.
SENIORS: There will be a MANDATORY scholarship meeting in the auditorium on Thursday, February 7th during Enrichment. The Farmington Central Academic Foundation will be here to present information. All Seniors are required to attend.
On Saturday, February 9th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Art club will be hosting a Neon night! Put on your best 80's outfit and come dance the night away! Tickets will be for sale starting next week during lunch. The cost is $12 for one and $20 for two. Contact Mrs. Simaytis for any questions.
For Jaden Van Winkle’s Harvest Team project, she is holding a donation to the Crittenton Center for women and children in need. With your donation of anything in assistance of children such as diapers, baby food, or pacifiers,you will receive $3.00 off your ticket purchase to the winter formal. You may bring your donation to the table at lunch.
Do you have an extra prom dress or accessories you need to get rid of? Bring them to Miss Burdess' room any day next week to donate them to Peoria Dream Center's PROMise of Hope event. The Dream Center provides dresses and accessories for students in Peoria County who can't afford to buy them.
There will be a meeting for all seniors interested in participating in the Work Based Learning program next school year on Tuesday, February 5th during Enrichment.
The following students should report to Mr. Paul in room 643 during enrichment today.
