  • Congratulations to Senior of the Month- Sam McMillin. Sam is involved in Football, National Honors Society, Harvest Team, and Drama Club. He enjoys lifting weights and volunteering in the community. Sam plans on attending college and playing college football after high school. He is interested in majoring in nursing or medical technologist. Congratulations, Sam!

 

  • Congratulations to Junior of the Month- Alexis Miller. Alexis is involved in Key Club, Drama Club, and Art Club. She enjoys reading, spending time with family, and volunteering. Alexis plans on attending college after high school. Congratulations, Alexis!

 

  • Congratulations to Sophomore of the Month- Henry Easley. Henry is involved in Baseball, Golf, and Band. He enjoys running, gaming, and outdoor activities. One of Henry’s accomplishments is winning the same baseball tournament two years in a row. A fun fact about Henry, he has a pet snake. After high school, he is interested in teaching and coaching. Congratulations, Henry!

 

  • Congratulations to Freshman of the Month- Halie Whitby. Halie is involved in Volleyball, Track, and Harvest Team. She enjoys painting and practicing volleyball in her spare time. Halie has continued to challenge herself academically and has accomplished big academic personal goals. She plans on attending college and majoring in engineering after high school. Halie also hopes to play volleyball at the college level.Congratulations, Halie!

 

  • Mrs. Shane was selected as October Staff Member of the Month! This is Mrs. Shane's second year teaching science at Farmington Central High School, though she's been in education in various ways for over 20 years.  She lives on a farm outside of Kickapoo with her husband, two sons, and her dog, Penny.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, watching her boys do their many activities, and shopping!  She is so happy to be back here for a second year sharing her love of science with her students. Congratulations, Mrs. Shane!

 

  • Homecoming Week is here! 

This year’s theme is A Wonderful World of Homecoming (Disney).

 

Here is a list of the dress-up days:

  • Today - Sleeping Beauty / PJ Day

  • Tuesday - Toy Story / Country Day

  • Wednesday - Lilo & Stitch / Hawaiian Day

  • Thursday - Mary Poppins / Anything but a backpack day

  • Friday - Disney Day / Class Colors 

(Seniors-black, Juniors-purple, Sophomores-gold, Freshman-white)

 

There will be an assembly each day during 4th hour.

 

The Homecoming Parade is Thursday, October 6th at 5PM.

 

Homecoming Varsity Football game is Friday, October 7th vs. Elmwood.

 

The Homecoming dance is Saturday, October 8th from 7-10 PM. Cost is $8/person or $15/couple at the door.

 

  • Smackdown is Tuesday October 4th. The cost is $3 to participate and you will pay at the event. Please wear your class colors: Seniors- Black; Juniors- Purple; Sophomore- Gold; Freshman- White. Any questions, please see Bella Archdale. 

 

  • The Powderpuff game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 5th at 6:30 on the football field. Sign-ups are outside the high school office. Signed waivers are due Tuesday, October 4th. Students are asked to bring canned foods or $5 before entering. 

 Each class should wear their class colors: 

Seniors - black

Juniors - purple

Sophomores - gold

Freshmen - white

  • Seniors, FAFSA Application Assistance Night will be held at the Farmington High School Auditorium TONIGHT from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
