  • Farmington FFA tried their hand at Forestry last night. Warm and muggy, but Ice Cream treats after helped. Great Job girls! Emma Slayton, Maddy Lettow, and Jayla Lekies.... 3rd place team! Great job!

 

  • The Farmers girls golf team traveled to Oak Run golf course to take on Rockridge and Mercer County. Rockridge girls shot a 164 to beat Mercer County 215 and Farmington girls shot a 232. Hannah Graves shot a low round of 36 to take home the honors of low medalist at oak run. Leading the Farmers were Anna Webel shot a 48, Ella Smith shot a 52, Megan Turner shot a 65, and Hailey McCoy shot a 67. The girls next match is today at Macomb. The girls will be getting out at 145 and leaving at 2pm for Macomb.Keep fighting the good fight ladies.  

 

  • The Powderpuff game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 5th at 6:30 on the football field. Sign-ups are outside the high school office. Signed waivers are due Tuesday, October 4th. Students are asked to bring canned foods or $5 before entering. 

 

Each class should wear their class colors: 

Seniors - black

Juniors - purple

Sophomores - yellow

Freshmen - white

  • Game Club will meet Thursday this week.

 

  • Sophomore class shirt orders are due Thursday at 3pm to Ms. Mendez. Shirt order forms can be found in your email or outside the office.

 

  • Dance Request Forms are required for students to request to bring a date who is not a FCHS student to Homecoming.  Forms may be picked up from the office and are due Thursday, September 29th. 

 

  • Picture retakes are scheduled for Friday, September 30th.

 

  • FFA Archery Shoot will be in Canton on Sept 24. Are you in FFA or Industrial Arts and enjoy archery? See Mrs. Plumer to find out how to participate.

 

  • A college representative from WIU will be in the cafeteria TOMORROW.

 

  • There will be an Art Club meeting this Friday during activity hour in the art room. There are important updates and event details so please make sure to attend. If you cannot make it Friday, make sure to see Mrs. Simaytis before Friday. 

 

  • Spoon River College will be in the cafeteria on September 28th during lunch.

 

  • There will be a Key Club meeting Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the art room. If you cannot make it, make sure to see Mrs. Simaytis for updates. 

 

  • Mr. McMillin will be meeting with all students today during 4th hour in the auditorium to discuss the Reunification Drill scheduled for this Friday.
