Bulletin – November 1, 2018
Jacob Gibbs was selected as November’s Senior of the Month. Jacob is a strong academic student as he is in the top 10% of his class and is the Student Senate Representative of our National Honor Society chapter. Along with his studies, Jacob is involved in various extracurricular activities which include: Golf Team, Scholastic Bowl, FFA (President), concert, marching, pep and jazz band, Harvest Team, musical, play, Thespian, and Student Senate representative. In addition to his extensive involvement in school, Jacob finds time to give back as he volunteers within the community. He served food during the Elmwood Fire Department Pancake breakfast, helped with the Farmington backpack program (Farmers Feeding Farmers), and placed flags on the graves of Veterans for Memorial Day. He plans on attending Western Illinois University in the fall where he will major in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration. Congratulations, Jacob! Please see Mrs. Clope by the end of the day.
Congratulations to Emily Stidham as she was accepted to Bradley University to major in Biomedical Science- Pre-Med Program. Congratulations Emily!
Sophomore Class shirt order forms are available in the office. Orders are due November 30th.
The football shed will be open all week after school. Please get all your cloth items out of your locker to wash.
There is a mandatory meeting for all boys planning to play basketball today immediately after school in the high school gym. The meeting will be very brief. Please see coach Otto if you have questions.
All locker signs currently on the lockers will need to be removed by the end of school day tomorrow.
Harvest Team shirt order forms are available in the office.
There will be a junior class meeting in the auditorium next Friday, November 9th during enrichment to pass out fundraiser information. All juniors must attend.
For any Senior taking Dual Credit courses next semester - registration forms are due by Friday, Nov. 2nd to Mrs. Neave.
Today is the last day to sign up for a spot-to see Les Mis --only a few remain. Please reserve your spot with Mr. Lambert by noon today.
Seniors, Josten’s will be back to take your graduation orders Friday, November 2nd during lunch hours. Please have your $60 down payment or JPAY form with your order on Friday. Any senior that missed the graduation meeting, please pick up your packet in the office.
