  • Sideline cheerleading tryout packets are available in the high school office.  Registration packets are due Thursday, March 31st. Instructional Clinic will take place in Gym D on Friday, April 1st from 3:15-5PM.  Tryouts are Saturday, April 2nd from 11AM-1PM in Gym D.

 

  • Seniors, please stop by and see Ms. Foster to confirm the spelling of your name for diplomas.

 

  • Key Club is selling donuts and coffee in room 625 to raise money for Erika’s Lighthouse, a nonprofit organization. Erika’s Lighthouse is dedicated to bringing awareness to teen mental health, especially depression. All proceeds made from the donut and coffee sales will go to supporting this organization.

 

  • Those students attending the fishing practice at Honkers Corner on Sunday, March 27th will leave the high school at 9AM sharp.  Please remember to pack a lunch and please be sure to check for messages/updates from Coach Boyer.

  

  • If you are interested in signing up for the Chicago trip on April 14th, please sign up in the office by Monday, March 28th. Tickets must be purchased at that time. Cost is $20 and will include visits to the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier, and Waterford Mall. A full itinerary will be released on April 1st.

  • This is a reminder that all NHS applications are due TODAY by noon. Please hand deliver these, along with the signature page, to Mrs. Clope by 10:30 a.m TODAY.  Mr. Lambert will also be collecting applications TODAY from 10:30-noon. No late applications will be accepted. Please email or see Mrs. Clope with any questions that you may have. 

 

  • Harvest Team applications for the 2022-2023 school year are now available outside the High School office.  Please complete by April 11th.  Interviews will be the following two days.  Any questions please see Mr. Lambert.

 

  • March is Theatre in our school's month.  Here is our Theatre Fact of the Day: It took 37,000 hours to build all of the puppets used in The Lion King. That is over 4 years!

 

  • FCHS Theatre Department proudly presents "Matilda: The Musical." Join us on Friday, April 8th and Saturday April 9th at 7 PM and Sunday April 10th at 2 PM. 

 

Tickets are $8-Adult and $5-Student. 

 

  • There will be a field trip to Illinois Central College (ICC) on March 28th from 9am-1pm. If you are interested, sign-up in Mrs. Haynes’ office. You must also submit a Field Trip Absence Notice.

 

  • Please report to the auditorium during 4th hour on March 31st if you are interested in learning about the Graham Hospital School of Nursing Program. Pam Ritter will be here to answer questions and present the program to students.
