Congrats to the Golden Wave Marching Band earning Best Auxiliary, Best Drum Majors, and 3rd Place in Class AA at the Geneseo Maple Leaf Classic this last Saturday. GO BAND!
The girls and boys golf teams went to Maple Lane to play against Elmwood. The girls scores were as follows: Anna Webel shot a 48, Faith Wheeler 54, and Ella Smith a 55. And for the boys side, Chase Miner shot a 63. The next match for the boys is Regionals being played at Country Hills Golf Course in Greenview, Illinois. The girls next match is today at Eureka against Eureka and El Paso at 4 PM.
Game club will meet on Thursday this week.

FAFSA Night will be held on October 6th from 5:30PM - 6:30PM in the high school auditorium. A representative from SRC will be holding a presentation about FAFSA and will also be available to assist families with the financial aid online application process. Please attend in person with your Chromebook. Please note that due to a new state law in 2020, all seniors will be required to complete FAFSA in order to receive a diploma and graduate.
Tonight, Harvest Team Leader Gracelyn Ulm will be hosting a movie night outside! We have an inflatable screen and projector showing “Hocus Pocus.” Bring your blankets to sit on. We will be located in the outdoor classroom. We will also have snacks available. Starts at 7:30, see you there!
There will be a junior class officer meeting this Friday, October 1st in Mrs. White’s room.
Mrs. Haynes will be holding individual meetings with students from October 1st-October 6th to discuss semester two course changes. If you are interested in requesting a course change for the second semester, please sign up for a scheduled time.
