- The Lady Farmers golf team took the road to Cambridge to play in the 7th Annual Mercer County Co-Ed Invitational at Valley View Country Club. The girls finished in 3rd place out of 6 teams. The score for the girls was as follows: Izzy Beoletto had a personal best for 18 holes with a score of 113, Anna Webel with a 118, Faith wheeler and Ella Smith each shot a 126. Great job ladies! The boys and girls next match is tomorrow at Maple Lane in Elmwood at 4 pm. Come out and support your boys and girls golf teams.
Gracelyn Ulm was selected as September’s Senior of the Month. Grace excels academically as she is ranked number one in her class and is a member of our National Honor Society chapter. Along with her studies, Grace is involved in various extracurricular activities which include: Marching, Hoop, Concert, and Jazz Band, FCA, Drama Club, class treasurer, Student Director, Harvest Leadership Team, Key Club, Prom Committee, Thespian, Student Senate President, and the girls basketball and track manager. In addition to her extensive involvement in school, Grace finds time to give back as she volunteers within the community. She has devoted many hours volunteering at her church as a worship team member. She has also helped at Stroke Camp which is a weekend camp for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Grace hopes to attend Cedarville University next year where she will major in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Congratulations, Grace!
It is that time again! Blackout 2021 is just around the corner. Order forms have been sent to your email and are available outside the high school office.
If you are not familiar with Blackout, it is a chance for our school to raise awareness and funds to support our local Easterseals organization in Peoria. Easterseals services are extended to several of our students. We have done this for several years now and have donated over $70,000 to Easterseals from our school.
One way to raise funds is the purchase of a shirt. It also allows free admission to the football game on September 24th, where we will do a check presentation to Easterseals.
Harvest Team Leaders Addison Littrel and Emylee Mahr will be assisting this year for their project.
Orders and money are due TOMORROW Wednesday, September 8th by 3:04 PM.

The September FFA Chapter Meeting will be Wednesday, September 8th at 3:15 in Mr. Look's room. We'll be discussing all of the upcoming section events like Forestry, Land Use, and Leadership Training School. Also, we will be giving out applications to attend the National Convention at the end of October. We'll see you there!
Game club will meet after school on Thursday this week.
The Homecoming dance will be Saturday, September 11th from 7 -10 pm at Farmington High School. The cost is $8 per person or $12 per couple. Tickets will be sold at the door only. Masks will be required to enter the dance.
