Bulletin – March 23, 2021

                                                                Block Schedule - A Day

  • Juniors and Seniors  remember to start selling Krispy Kreme donuts!  Order forms can be found in your email or picked up from Ms. Mendez or the office. Money and orders are due April 5th to Ms. Mendez.

Anyone interested in placing an order they are $9.00/dozen and will be delivered Friday, April 9th.  You may place an order in the high school office.  Thank you for your support of this year’s After Prom!

  • For Kaiya Hintz and Trista Nichols’ Harvest Team project they are wanting to bring

more awareness of different types of cancers that are not as well known, yet are the deadliest to those who are diagnosed with them. There will be a donation bin set up each Friday of March, near the front doors, where you can drop off gifts for cancer patients. This can include any warm wear, blankets, socks, gum, hand sanitizer, lotion, chapstick, activity

books, journals, or hard candy. There will be a list on the bin with more donation ideas. For

the month of March we will be focusing on 4 of the top deadliest cancers, one for each week

in March. At the end of the week on Friday we encourage the students of FCHS to wear the

color of the cancer’s ribbon to bring awareness and support for the cause.

This week we will be focusing on lung cancer where the ribbon color is white.

The risk of being diagnosed with lung cancer increases as you get older.  Most cases are diagnosed in people over 60 years old.

  • Please be advised that the Illinois Central College (ICC) Dual Credit Placement Test for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year will take place on March 30th @1pm. Sophomore and Junior students who registered for dual credit classes with ICC in the fall will report to the Research Center with their Chromebook for the Reading and Math Accuplacer. Please email Ms. Smith for questions.
