Congratulations to the FFA Members that participated in District Proficiency Interviews last night. Christy Mahr was a finalist in Diversified Crop Production Entrepreneurship, Austin Mottaz was a finalist in Turf Grass Management, and Caleb Mahr placed second in Vegetable Production. Advancing to State Awards Day are Katie Barnett in Equine Science Entrepreneurship, Sarah Stevens in Agricultural Processing, and Karah Thomas in Small Animal Production and Care. Katie, Sarah, and Karah are now among the top 5 in the state in their respective areas, congratulations!
Junior class will begin their SAT prep classes next week starting Monday, March 12th during Enrichment. A copy of group assignments and schedule have been emailed to you. It is also posted outside the office.
Seniors: Make sure to have your senior slide to Mr. Lambert by TODAY. If not received, your school picture will be used.
Would you like to participate in the showdown of the classes basketball tournament on April 15? If so there are sign-ups in the office for players and coaches. There are two coaches per class, at least one male one female, and you MUST order a T-shirt to play or coach. Ordering a shirt will also grant you free admission to the game. Would you like to be on a team of students who help communicate with first responders in case of emergency? The Farmington Police Chief will be here in the office March 20th during Enrichment to talk with students who are interested.
The Drama Club is hosting a blood drive next Wednesday, the 14th. If you will be 16 by this date, please sign up during lunch hours. Your signed parental consent form must be turned in during lunch hours by this Friday, the 9th.
Any student wanting to tryout for the 2018-2019 varsity dance team may attend a voluntary conditioning practice TODAY from 3:45-5.
