                                                                           Block Schedule - A Day

  • Hello everyone, like last year FCHS will have a powderpuff football game, the forms for the game are outside the main doors and they must be signed and returned to either the office or Josh McMillin by next Friday March 12th. Players as well as coaches for each grade are needed as well as people to announce, run the clock, and to be officials. If you have any interest in those please contact Josh. Thanks.

  • Emma Evans will be hosting SMACKDOWN on Wednesday, March 17th at 6 pm. Sign ups are shirt order forms are in the office and shirt order forms can also be found in your email. All money raised will go to the ‘Miss You Can Do It’ Pageant for disabled children. Please let Emma Evans know if you have any questions.

  • For Kaiya Hintz and Trista Nichols’ Harvest Team project they are wanting to bring

more awareness to different types of cancers that are not as well known, yet are the deadliest

to those who are diagnosed with them. There will be a donation bin set up each Friday of

March, near the front doors, where you can drop off gifts for cancer patients. This can

include any warm wear, blankets, socks, gum, hand sanitizer, lotion, chapstick, activity

books, journals, or hard candy. There will be a list on the bin with more donation ideas. For

the month of March we will be focusing on 4 of the top deadliest cancers, one for each week

in March. At the end of the week on Friday we encourage the students of FCHS to wear the

color of the cancer’s ribbon to bring awareness and support for the cause. This week the

focus is on Prostate cancer where the ribbon color is sky blue.

Eating tomatoes may reduce the risk of having prostate cancer, especially when

the tomatoes are cooked in olive oil. Don’t forget to wear the color sky blue tomorrow in

support of prostate cancer and to help bring awareness.

World Geography is learning about the countries and capitals of Asia. Software Applications are working on interactive storyboards and building websites for clients. Each course builds upon foundational ideas and concepts to advance students to become the best version of themselves.
