  • Jack Stevens was selected as February’s Senior of the Month. Jack excels academically as he is in the top 5% of his class and is a member of the National Honor Society. Along with his studies, Jack is involved in various extracurricular activities including: Golf, Track and Field, Science Olympiad, Mathletes, Marching and Concert Band, WYSE/ACES Team, and Scholastic Bowl. In addition to his involvement in school, Jack finds time to give back as he volunteers within the community. He assisted students through our tutoring program at FCHS and entertained children at the Wildlife Prairie Park annual Halloween event. He is currently undecided on which college he will attend, but he will major in chemical or environmental engineering. Congratulations and good luck in all your future endeavors, Jack! 

  • Congratulations to Kaiya Hintz as she was selected as the Freshman of the Month for February! She is involved in Cross Country, Track, Harvest Team, Speech Team, Winter Guard, Play, Musical, Drama Club, Band, Chorus, and FCA.  Congratulations, Kaiya!

  • Congratulations to Gabriel Thompson who was selected as Sophomore of the Month for February! He is active in Football, Scholastic Bowl, Track, and Game Club.  Congratulations, Gabriel!

  • Congratulations to Laura Stevens who was selected as Junior of the Month for February!  She is active in FFA, Farmers Feeding Farmers, Key Club, Harvest Team, Basketball, Track, and 4-H.  Congratulations, Laura!

  • Congratulations to our staff member of the month- Brandi Foster.  Brandi has been a lifelong Farmington Farmer since graduating from FCHS in 1996. She then studied Early Childhood Education and Child Development.  She began working for the district in 2013. She is the proud Mom to Delaney and Dawson. In her spare time she loves supporting her kids at events, spending time with her family and friends, organizing and shopping. If you hear laughing from the office, it's probably Brandi with her partner in crime Susan!  Congratulations Brandi!  

  • Starting next week on Monday, February 8th, the Unified PE class is asking for all students and staff to join us in celebrating and bringing awareness to the meaning of the words “Unity” and “Inclusion” as it relates to individual differences. We are asking you to wear a specific color each day to support our Respect Campaign. On Friday, February 12, please stop by our table that we will have set up in the cafeteria for some free gifts and make the pledge to include!  

The color theme for Monday will be Rainbow! Please join us next week in our campaign for respect and inclusion!

When you shop, you’ll be purchasing high-quality Made in USA products, while helping their group raise money for the 2022 prom.

  • Today’s Senior Shoutout goes to Sydnee Barton. 

Sydnee participates in basketball, volleyball, Harvest Team, and National Honors Society. 

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family. 

Her favorite memory at FCHS is playing sports with her friends.
