Ben Efnor was selected as February’s Senior of the Month. Ben takes great pride in his academics as he a high B student, is a National Honor Society member, and has been on the Honor Roll four consecutive years throughout his high school career. Along with his studies, Ben is involved in numerous extracurricular activities which include: Band, Scholastic Bowl, Game Club, Football, Theater, FFA, Chess Club, and the Bass Fishing Team. In addition to his involvement in school, Ben finds time to give back to the community as he volunteered his time at the Wildlife Scary Park. He also placed flags on Veterans’ graves for Memorial Day and worked the annual Farmington High School Blood Drive. He will attend Western Illinois University in the fall where he will major in Broadcasting. Congratulations, Ben! Please see Mrs. Clope by the end of the day.
Ms. Salgado is February’s Staff Member of the Month. She teaches Spanish 1-4 and she has been teaching for five years and she hosts Spanish Club. Her favorite part about her job is interacting with her students and seeing the progress that they make. Some hobbies she enjoys outside of school are spending time at school events and going to Buffalo Wild Wings. Congratulations to Ms. Salgado on February’s Staff Member of the Month!
Good luck to the FHS Cheerleaders this weekend at state! They compete at 11:40 tomorrow in Bloomington!

Wishing for a dance in between homecoming and prom? Wish no further as the FHS Art Club is bringing one to you! During lunch from now until the dance, tickets will be sold for singles and doubles. Tickets are also available in Mrs. S' room. February 17th will be here before you know it! See Mrs. S for details and come dance the night away.

There will be a short meeting for all girls interested in running track this Spring in the gym.
