Congratulations to the members of the FFA Horse Judging team for winning the Section 12 contest Monday night in Delevan. Katie Barnett, Kristy Gazelle and Katie Patterson placed 2nd, 5th, and 6th respectively.
The September FFA Meeting will be Thursday at 4:00 in the ag room. We will have food, fun, games, and info about many upcoming events in September and October!
The Lady Farmers golf team played yesterday at Gibson Woods Golf Course in Monmouth against Knoxville and United. The Farmers beat Knoxville by the score of 216 to 225 but lost to United by the score of 205 to 216. A very close match. The Farmers were lead by Carly Behrens with a 51, Courtney Renfroe with a 53, Regan Kersh with a 54, and Josie Huffman with a 58. The girls will practice at Elmwood today right after school practicing on their chipping and putting.
Juniors - class shirt order forms are in your email. If you would like to order a class shirt to wear on class color day next Friday, please print out an order form and return it with payment to Miss Burdess no later than the end of the day THIS FRIDAY, September 15th.
Sophomores, Jostens will be back to take your class ring orders this Friday, September 15th during the lunch hours. Please bring a $60 down payment with your order form on Friday. Any Sophomore who missed the class meeting, please pick up your ring packet in the office.
Game club will meet after school today.
Key Club dues are to be turned into T.J. Benedict or Mr. Lambert by the next meeting, September 29th. The fee is $15.00. Also, if you would like to attend the Fall Leadership Conference October 1st at Metamora High School, please sign up with Mr. Lambert by this Friday.
Juniors: the PSAT is coming!!!! Please see Mr. Panner in the office to sign up to take the PSAT on October 11th which will prepare you for the SAT in March. Victory loves preparation.
A representative from Blackhawk College will be here tomorrow during Enrichment in the HS office.
There will be a mandatory junior class meeting in the auditorium tomorrow during Enrichment.
