Footprint of a Farmer Award - Tony Mathes

Today we recognize a student for their positive impact they have made on the Farmington school community. Not only have they taken the time to learn from their mistakes while in high school, but have now used that as an opportunity to support others on their journey. This student has a natural ability to lead, include, and support. His selfless acts should not go unnoticed as he is encompassing all the characteristics of a Farmer: determined, respectful, inclusive, involved, and positive. When we discuss the “Footprint of a Farmer” we hope that you all remember that your mistakes do not define you, but what you learn from them and how you continue on your journey does. Your integrity and sincere empathy for others has not gone unnoticed, Tony.
