  • Congratulations to your Scholastic Bowl Farmers who took 1st place in the Fulton County Tournament last night!  In addition, Levi Lekies and Jackson Gilmore were named to the all tournament team for first and second most tossups answered for the night...and that was after only playing 2 matches compared to the other teams 3! Way to go boys!

    The team will go on to play in the regional tournament on Monday in Elmwood starting at 4:30. 


  • Ben Marvel is our Senior of the Month for March. Ben is on the football and baseball team at Farmington Central High School. He plans to attend Carl Sandburg for two years and then transfer to a four year college to pursue a major in Sports Management. He states that his biggest accomplishments in high school are having the 5th best GPA in his class and being a part of the football team and their run to the semifinals. Ben enjoys playing baseball over the summer and hanging out with friends and family. Congratulations, Ben!


  • Our Junior of the Month is Jackson Gilmore. Jackson is part of the football team and the track team. He is also active in many clubs and organizations like Key Club, Scholastic Bowl, Drama Club, Art Club, and Science Olympiad. Jackson is also one of our band members. After high school, Jackson plans to attend Bradley University for Biomedical Engineering. Jackson states that one of his biggest school accomplishments was going to state three different times for Science Olympiad and being in the playoff semifinals for football. Jackson spends his free time hanging out with friends. Your future is bright, and we are so proud of your hard work. Congrats, Jackson! 


  • Skylar Lundberg has been named our Sophomore Student of the Month. Skylar is in volleyball and participates in wrestling at Farmington Central High School. She has taken the opportunity to also participate in many of the extracurriculars and clubs that Farmington has to offer including; FFA, Key Club, Drama Club, Art Club, and Yearbook. After high school, she plans to attend a four year college to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. When Skylar considers her accomplishments, she notes that juggling all of her activities and sports while taking on major roles within them and still keeping up with good grades is something she is proud of. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Congratulations, Skylar! 


  • This month Chloe Briggs is our Freshman Student of the Month. Chloe plays volleyball and is part of the cheerleading team. She also participates in Key Club, Drama Club, Yearbook, and chorus. After high school, Chloe plans to attend a four year college to study Humanities in order to work in the mission field.  She states that one of her biggest accomplishments was winning the Judges Choice Award at a speech competition. When Chloe finds free time, she spends it with her friends and family and attends Youth Group. We look forward to seeing all of your success in high school, Chloe! Congratulations!


  • This month’s staff member of the month just started her career in the high school this year. She has been doing a phenomenal job of supporting her students, collaborating with other staff, and looking out for all students, some of  whom aren’t even in her classes. This month’s staff member of the month is Ms. Barton. Congratulations!

  • Tech will be sending out invoices at the end of next week for all loaner Chromebooks and chargers. Please return all extra items to the tech room ASAP to not incur fees. Also, please check your emails frequently as emails are being sent out and the tech team needs responses. Thanks for your cooperation.

  • There will be a meeting TODAY in the gym during 5A for those students interested in the Bass Fishing Team.

  • Please check the lost and found table outside the office for any of your missing items. Everything will be removed this afternoon.

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) meets every Friday in the Research Center at 7:15 in the morning. Come and enjoy some food and fellowship together. Every student that attends gets their name in the drawing for our monthly door prize.
