  • Lily Anderson has been nominated as our January Senior of the month. Lily is on the basketball team and part of FFA at Farmington High School. After high school, she plans to attend Eastern Oklahoma State College to be a member of the Livestock Judging team and earn an Associate's degree. Then she plans to transfer to Kansas State University to earn her Bachelor's in Agriculture Education. While in FFA she has held the elected offices of Historian, Reporter, and Vice President. In addition to being second at the Western University Livestock Judging Contest, and first at the Section Livestock Judging contest for two years in a row. Lily also qualified to judge at the Keystone International Livestock Judging contest in Pennsylvania her freshman year. In 4-H and FFA both, she shows pigs competitively throughout the country in which she has made many accomplishments. Outside of school she enjoys traveling to livestock shows, going to concerts, and spending quality time with friends and family. Congratulations, Lily! 

  • This month Dax Ulm has been nominated as the Junior of the month. Dax is in cross country and track at Farmington High School while also being part of 4H for the last nine years. After high school Dax states that he will, “plan on attending a four year university to run Cross Country and Track and study accounting and/or business.” Dax has had a very successful school experience so far with some pretty big accomplishments including; being a 3x all-state in Junior High Track and Cross Country, 3rd place in Prairieland Conference Cross Country in 2023, and keeping above a 4.0 GPA in high school. While not at school Dax enjoys running, lifting weights, and hanging out with friends and family. We look forward to continuing to watch your success, Dax. 

  • Congratulations to Presley Evans as she has been nominated as the January Sophomore of the month. Presley is in cheerleading at Farmington High School. She plans to attend college in order to obtain a career in which she can be financially successful. She is very proud that she maintains good grades in high school. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with friends. Way to go, Presley!

  • Braxton Krusa is January’s Freshman student of the month. Braxton is part of the football and baseball team. After high school, Braxton plans on going into the trades. He states that his biggest accomplishment is getting student of the month. Outside of school Braxton enjoys fishing, hunting, riding dirtbikes, playing Fortnite, and hanging out with friends. Congratulations, Braxton!

  • There will be a brief baseball meeting TODAY during 5A in Coach Begner’s classroom. (Rm #695)

  • There will be a prom committee meeting in the research center during 5A TODAY. Any junior who would like to have a say in the decisions surrounding prom planning is welcome to attend. Please check in with your Farmer Time teacher before reporting to the research center, and make arrangements with your Farmer Time teacher for you to take 5B lunch if 5A is normally your lunch hour.

  • There will be a yearbook meeting next Friday, January 17th in Ms. Simaytis' room during 5B. There will be a lot to cover so make sure to attend. 

  • Key Club is meeting next Thursday at 7:30 a.m. in the theatre. All are welcome!

  • Art Club has an informational meeting next Friday, January 17th in Ms. Simaytis' room during 5A. We are planning different events so make sure to attend if you are interested! 

  • An informational crew meeting will take place next Friday, January 17th after school in the theatre. If you are interested but cannot attend, let Ms. Simaytis or Jacob Gilles know.

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) meets every Friday in the Research Center at 7:15 in the morning. Come and enjoy some food and fellowship together. Every student that attends gets their name in the drawing for our monthly door prize.
