Josie Webel was selected as Farmington Central High School’s October Senior of the Month. Josie is a highly involved student here at Farmington as she participates in Volleyball, Student Council, National Honor Society, Harvest Team, FFA, Key Club, and Drama Club. In addition to extracurriculars, Josie has grown up with a strong musical influence her whole life, being in 4 musicals, singing at church, and playing the piano, ukulele, and a little bit of guitar! After high school, Josie plans to attend a 4-year university and major in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and Communication. She hopes to live somewhere fun, like the south, and have a job she really enjoys. Josie has had many accomplishments while in high school. She qualified for State in FFA Ag Sales, and Districts in Public Speaking. She also served as the Class of 2025 President for three years of high school, and is the NHS President this year. In addition, Josie has been involved with the American and Illinois Junior Simmental Associations, showing cattle State and Nation-wide! When she does have free time, she likes to shop, hang out with friends, go to sporting events, sing and play the piano, and try the Crumbl flavors each week. Overall, Josie is super grateful for the opportunity to get Senior of the Month! And the sweet parking spot! Congratulations, Josie!
