The girls and boys golf teams traveled to Cambridge, Illinois for the Mercer County 10th Annual Co-Ed Invitational tournament. The girls finished 9th out of 10 teams with a score of 526. The leading scores for the girls were Megan Turner with a score of 109, where she finished in 14th place out of 52 girls and Kate Andersen with a score of 111, where she finished in 17th place out of 52 girls. The girls next match is this Wednesday, September 4th at Oak Run. The boys golf team finished 12th out of 14 boys teams. The leading scores were Cole Blackhurst with a 98, where he finished 45th out of 75 boys, and Brady Nickel shot a 103, where it landed him 51st out of 75 boys. The next match for the boys is today where they will be going to Monmouth to play at Gibson Woods. They should be released at 10:45 this morning. They are playing another 18 hole event.
