Luke LeBron was selected as Farmington Central High School’s May Senior of the Month. Luke has been involved in FFA throughout high school. During his senior year, Luke got an early start on his career and technical education through Dual Credit Work-Based Learning by taking the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Fire Science Programs at Illinois Central College. He earned his Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) certification and will become a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) as well. He was top of his EMT class first semester; and he received the American Legion School Award Medal. Outside of school Luke enjoys fishing, doing ride alongs, and hanging out with friends. Luke plans to join the U.S. Navy as a corpsman, then pursue a career as a firefighter. Congratulations, Luke!
Caden Mowen was selected as Farmington Central High School’s May Junior of the Month. Caden has been involved in Football, Track, and FFA. Caden is the manager of the FFA greenhouse, he was also First Team All-Conference Football and Honorable Mention All-State Football. Outside of school Caden enjoys hanging out with friends. Caden plans to attend trade school and pursue a career as a crane operator. Congratulations, Caden!
Lexi Joplin was selected as Farmington Central High School’s May Sophomore of the Month. Lexi has been involved in Cheerleading, and Track. Lexi has maintained honor roll consistently throughout high school. Outside of school Lexi enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Lexi plans to attend college and major in a career in the medical field. Congratulations, Lexi!
Makenzie Hoover was selected as Farmington Central High School’s May Freshman of the Month. Makenzie was on the Dance Team and was the manager for our wrestling team. Outside of school Makenzie enjoys spending time with her two sisters, babysitting, cleaning, organizing, and cooking. Makenzie plans to attend a four-year university then transfer to medical school to become a traveling nurse. Congratulations, Makenzie!
The next FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) meeting will be TOMORROW at 7:15AM in the Research Center. All students are welcome.

HARVEST TEAM BANQUET: Harvest Team Banquet is May 6th at 6:00pm in the high school cafeteria.
STERLING MERIT AWARDS: Tuesday, May 7th at 6:15pm. The prestigious rotary awards ceremony for the top 8% of the graduating class.
SENIOR LAST DAY: May 15th. Seniors are not required to take finals unless it is impactful of graduation (D/F in the class). This does not include dual credit classes.
GRADUATION PRACTICE: May 17th at 9:00am in the high school gymnasium.
GRADUATION: Official graduation will be held on May 19th, 2024 at 2:00pm. The ceremony will be held inside the high school gymnasium.
FINALS: High school finals are May 21st and 22nd. The last day of student attendance is May 22nd.
