Ashlyn Slayton was selected as Farmington Central High School’s April Senior of the Month. Ashlyn has been involved in Dance Team, National Honor Society, Harvest Team, FFA, Key Club, Drama Club, Yearbook, and Unified PE. One of Ashlyn’s big accomplishments is being a part of the Unified program. Outside of school Ashlyn is a 4-H member and enjoys showing livestock and being with friends and family. After high school, Ashlyn plans to attend Western Illinois University to major in Special Education with a minor in Agricultural Sciences. Congratulations, Ashlyn!
Kelsey Patterson was selected as Farmington Central High School’s April Junior of the Month. Kelsey has been involved in FFA. One of Kelsey’s big accomplishments was raising the grand champion ram at the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky. Also, getting to be Vice President of the FFA chapter and getting to work with her teammates. Outside of school Kelsey enjoys raising and showing sheep all across the country with her family. After high school, Kelsey plans to attend Black Hawk East Junior College and then transfer to South Dakota State University to study Agricultural Communications. Congratulations, Kelsey!
Natalie Zaborac was selected as Farmington Central High School’s April Sophomore of the Month. Natalie has been involved in Cheerleading and Track. One of Natalie’s big accomplishments was getting top ten at ICCA for high school cheerleading. Outside of school, Natalie enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, and going on long walks. Natalie plans to attend college and go into the medical field, and cheer in college. Congratulations, Natalie!
Lynsey Shriber was selected as Farmington Central High School’s April Freshman of the Month. Lynsey has been involved in Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and FFA. Lynsey excels in sports, and one of her big accomplishments was winning the Section 12 Conduct of Chapter Competition with her friends. Outside of school Lynsey enjoys playing sports and hanging out with friends and family. Lynsey plans to attend college and major in Sports Management, and also plans to play a sport in college. Congratulations, Lynsey!
FCHS Theatre proudly presents Chicago: Teen Edition this weekend! Join us Friday and Saturday at 7 PM and Sunday at 2 PM. Tickets are $8.
Powder Puff is back from Harvest Team Leaders Avery Blunier and Reagan Stevens. To participate, you must collect a packet from the office and return it by TODAY April 9. If the packet is not returned and signed by your parents, you will not be able to participate. Any questions let us know! The game will take place on Friday, April 12.
