A big congratulations to the scholastic bowl team for their second place finish in the Masonic tournament on Saturday!
The 2024 Western Illinois University Science Olympiad Regional competition took place on Saturday, February 19. Farmington Central High School placed 3rd out of 12 teams in the C division, and accomplished this with only 9 students (out of a possible 15). The junior high and high school teams both qualified to participate in the state tournament, April 20, 2024 at the University of Illinois. Individual results are posted outside the office.
There will be no weightlifting after school TODAY.
FCHS is pleased to officially announce Spring Break Trip 2024 to Chicago. The trip is Friday, March 29th (the first day of Spring Break) and we will leave at 6:00AM from the HS. The trip stops will include: the Museum of Science and Industry, the Art Institute and Millennium Park, and Navy Pier. The cost is $20. We do use two charter buses to travel to Chicago. Reservations are "first come first serve" as seating is limited. Students cover their own lunch/dinner. Permission slips may be picked up in the office. Please return all deposits and permission slips to Mrs. Gibbs.
