  • Marlena Foust was selected as Farmington Central High School’s February Senior of the Month. Marlena has made significant progress in her classes and made high honor roll last semester. Marlena plans to attend Cosmetology school after high school, and has already started practicing for her career. In her spare time, she likes spending time with her friends, and most importantly, her family. Marlena has a twin sister named Megan, both of her parents are deaf and she is fluent in American Sign Language. Congratulations, Marlena!

  • Isabelle Lynn was selected as Farmington Central High School’s February Junior of the Month. Izzy is involved in Volleyball, FFA, and Yearbook. Outside of school, Izzy plays for the CIE travel team. She is currently working on being recruited to play volleyball in college. She plans to attend a four-year college playing volleyball while pursuing a degree in Early Education. She plans to become a 5th grade teacher, as well as having a side job as a baker. Congratulations, Izzy!

  • Madeline Lettow was selected as Farmington Central High School’s February Sophomore of the Month. Maddy is involved in Golf, Harvest Team, FFA, Key Club, Scholastic Bowl, Drama Club, and Yearbook. Maddy is the sophomore class president and an FFA officer. She is also a member of the Parli Pro team and Ag Sales team, which competed at State this year. She was recently selected as an Illinois 4-H Delegate to represent Illinois 4-H at the Ignite Summit for Teen Leaders in Washington D.C. Outside of school Maddy enjoys traveling. She has visited 41 states, and after this summer she will have four to go. She is currently earning her Private Pilot’s License and currently holds her Student Pilot’s License. Maddy plans to major in ProFlight at a four-year university and become a professional pilot. Congratulations, Maddy!

  • Noah Shelby was selected as Farmington Central High School’s February Freshman of the Month. Noah is involved in Football, Track, Student Council, and FFA. Outside of school, Noah enjoys hanging out with his friends. Being a freshman, he’s enjoying trying new activities such as Football and FFA. Track is his favorite sport. Noah plans to attend college after high school. Congratulations, Noah! 

  • FCHS is pleased to officially announce Spring Break Trip 2024 to Chicago. The trip is Friday, March 29th (the first day of Spring Break) and we will leave at 6:00AM from the HS. The trip stops will include: the Museum of Science and Industry, the Art Institute and Millennium Park, and Navy Pier. The cost is $20. We do use two charter buses to travel to Chicago. Reservations are "first come first serve" as seating is limited. Students cover their own lunch/dinner. Permission slips may be picked up in  the office. Please return all deposits and permission slips to Mrs. Gibbs. 

  • FCHS Harvest Leadership Team will meet during 5B TODAY in Mr. Lambert’s room.

  • There will be a prom committee meeting on THURSDAY, Feb15th in Mr. Maske's room during B lunch. Prom committee members and any other junior who would like to participate should check in with their farmer time teacher and plan accordingly before reporting to Mr. Maske's room.

  • Prom is swiftly approaching. Those interested in attending prom and/or grand march should be on the lookout for an email from Mrs. White within the next couple of weeks. This email will contain everything you need to know about prom and grand march, including times, dinner menu, directions to the venue, ticket prices, and more. If you have any questions about prom before then, please direct them to Mrs. White at awhite@dist265.com.
