Congratulations to Madi Helle as she was selected as the Freshman of the Month for October! She is active in marching band and theatre. She is a leader among her class, helped on the freshman float for Homecoming and shows kindness and encouragement to her peers. Congratulations, Madi!
Congratulations to Emma Evans who was selected as Sophomore of the Month for October! She is one of the drum majors for the Golden Wave marching band, participates in volleyball, is a member of the Harvest Leadership Team and is active in theatre. She has outstanding grades, exemplary character and is a leader within her class. She is considerate and helpful to the staff as well. Congratulations, Emma!
Congratulations to Annabelle Easley who was selected as Junior of the Month for October! She is an active member of the marching band, cross country and a member of the Harvest Leadership Team. She goes above and beyond to put forth exemplary work and seems to always be in a cheery mood. She has outstanding grades, a leader among her peers and has a great outlook. Attention all boys interested in playing basketball: there will be a shoe representative here at lunch today to fit you for your size. Please check with him to make sure you know how to get your shoes ordered before the season starts.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will be meeting on Friday at 7:15am in the research center. Please see Makenna Hintz or Adian Basalay if you have any questions or are interested. All are welcome!
Any current or potential Key club members need to have their $15 turned in to Mrs. Simaytis or Tori Benedict by Friday, October 4th.
SENIORS: There will be a meeting this Friday during 7th hour in the Auditorium regarding plans for after graduation. All Seniors are required to attend.
A representative from Spoon River College will be here during Activity and Lunch periods to talk with students. They will have a table set up in the cafeteria if you are interested in speaking with a representative.
