  • Congratulations to the Senior of the Month – Megan Foust. Megan is proud of her progress in school and has been accepted to Illinois Central College. Megan will be in the CNA program at ICC during 2nd semester. After graduation, she plans to study Respiratory Therapy at ICC while working at OSF. Megan enjoys drinking sweet coffee while reading books by her favorite author, Colleen Hoover. She also enjoys walks, fishing, and spending a lot of time with her family. Both of Megan’s parents are deaf and she is fluent in American Sign Language. She also has a twin sister, Marlena. Congratulations, Megan!

  • Congratulations to the Junior or the Month – Carter Lambin. Carter is involved in Football. Carter enjoys playing video games such as Fortnite. He was excited to win the world cup in Fortnite and he has the original renegade raider. Carter plans to go into the trades after high school. Congratulations, Carter!

  • Congratulations to the Sophomore of the Month – Anthony Zotto. Anthony is involved in Football, Key Club, Game Club, Science Olympiad, and Band. He enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons, airsoft, video games, and board games. He is part Italian and Irish; and likes math and science. One of his big accomplishments was placing 5th at State for Science Olympiad. Anthony plans to join the Air Force after high school. Congratulations, Anthony!

  • Congratulations to the Freshman of the Month – Will Uptmor. Will is involved in Soccer, Basketball, and Band. He enjoys playing sports and listening to music in his free time. He also knows how to play many instruments. One of Will’s big accomplishments was when he got MVP in his first varsity soccer game when their varsity goalkeeper was injured. Will plans to attend college where he will continue playing soccer and would like to produce music for other artists. Congratulations, Will! 

  • We would like to wish best of luck to Levi Lekies as he performs with the ILMEA band tomorrow at Augustana College!

  • The FCHS Theatre Department is presenting students as well as the community with an opportunity to be someone's hero. The fall Blood Drive will be held on November 8th from 9AM to 2PM. Plus--free snacks! Sign-ups will be in the cafeteria during lunch and in the office.

  • Be sure to check the Lost and Found table outside the office by the end of the day!
