  • September is National Suicicde Prevention Month. There are countless activities we can do on a regular basis to improve our mental and physical health. Take a moment to reflect on what you already do for you. If there isn’t much, consider practicing self-care by taking care of your body. Be sure to get plenty of sleep, eat well, and stay active. Maybe try mindfulness or meditation to check in with yourself and really pay attention to how you feel and what you want out of life. And don’t forget to ask for help when you need it. We don’t have to go through life managing everything alone. Your friends and family also get a sense of purpose when you ask them for help.
