  • September is National Suicide Prevention Month. For many of us, school and extracurricular activities play a central role in our lives. They give us a sense of purpose, provide us with direction, inspire us to set goals, and boost our self-confidence. Feeling connected to our school community helps us feel fulfilled. Not into athletics or academics? Yet another way we can combat suicide is by becoming a mentor for others or finiding a mentor for ourselves.
