  • Congratulations to Senior of the month- Kristiaan Scalf. Kristiaan is involved in National Honor Society, inclusive leadership through Diversity Group, and Key Club. He enjoys reading, writing, and playing chess. Some of Kristiaan’s big accomplishments include being named an Illinois State Scholar, DCLC Distinguished Senior, and volunteering over 150 plus hours this school year. Kristiaan plans to attend Bradley University where he will major in English Education. Congratulations, Kristiaan!

  • Congratulations to Junior of the month- Trena Austin. Trena is involved in Cross Country, Track, and Key Club. She enjoys dancing and hiking trails. Her favorite class this school year is psychology. Trena plans on going to college after high school and majoring in the medical field. She specifically would like to become a Diagnostician or major in Neuroscience. Congratulations, Trena!

  • Congratulations to Sophomore of the month- Taerika Lee. Taerika is involved in Drama Club. She enjoys traveling, shopping, and being outdoors. A big accomplishment of Taerika’s is winning a bake off last year. She plans on going to ICC then transferring to a 4-year university to earn a degree in Radiology. Congratulations, Taerika!

  • Congratulations to Freshman of the month- Dax Ulm. Dax is involved in Cross Country, Track, and Key Club. Dax also participates in 4H on his own time. He enjoys playing piano and running. Last school year, Dax went to State for cross country and track. He placed 8th in cross country and 4th place in track. Dax hopes to go to college where he will participate in sports and major in Engineering. Congratulations, Dax!

  • Fishing team members need to meet at the high school this Saturday at 8:30AM. Please be sure to contact Coach Boyer if you plan to attend!!

  • Please remove all locker signs before leaving for spring break.

  • Juniors and Seniors please remember to be selling Krispy Kreme donuts, order forms can be found in your email, picked up from Ms. Mendez or the office. Money and orders are due April 5th to Ms. Mendez. The top seller will receive two free prom tickets. 

If anyone would like to support After Prom and place an order, please email Ms. Mendez at lmendez@dist265.com. Donuts are $12/dozen (checks payable to FCHS) and will be delivered to the high school on April 12th. 

  • Juniors and Seniors who are interested in joining National Honors Society for the 2023-2024 school year, applications are available in the office and are due April 11th to Mrs. Haynes. 

  • There will be a MANDATORY meeting for those students attending the St. Louis trip TODAY during 4th hour in the auditorium.


    • Methodist will be in the cafeteria on April 5th during lunch.
